Each year, GirlVentures’ EMPOWER! Breakfast brings together more than 300 people to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of girls who have participated in our transformative programs. Several alumnae share their experiences and describe how GirlVentures has impacted their lives. There will also be opportunities for attendees to network before and after the program.Our guest speaker this year is Cindy Solomon, an internationally recognized speaker, consultant, author and entrepreneur who helps individuals and teams find their courage. Cindy has brought her humorous, provocative and meaningful insights to thousands around the country, empowering people to step out of their comfort zones and build the assets needed to succeed.
The Breakfast will benefit GirlVentures, a local non-profit that brings together Bay Area girls from a variety of backgrounds, helping them transition to young adulthood through challenging programs focused on themes of healthy living, leading confidently, and relating wisely to themselves, others and the environment. Two thirds of participants come from low-to-middle income families and receive full or partial scholarships, ensuring all girls can join us regardless of their background.
To thank our supporters, Raymond Vineyards in Napa Valley will provide the largest day-of donor with a unique Napa Valley wine country experience inclusive of an overnight stay for two in their guesthouse, private cooking class with their chef, and a private tour and wine blending seminar worth $1,000.
