Emerald Bay Outreach was founded after seeing first hand how useful and beneficial medical marijuana is. After having multiple surgeries and eventually becoming permanently disabled 1997, the use of narcotic pain killers became part of my everyday life. There were a substantial amount of negative side-effects from the continued use of pharmaceutical narcotics that my doctors were concerned about long term damage to my vital organs. Recognizing that pain management was a necessary part of my everyday life we (my doctors and family)replaced narcotics with medical marijuana. I have since lost 40lbs, my digestive system is functioning better than ever and my pain is completely manageable.

In 1992 my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Had I, she and her doctors been made more aware and educated as to the benefits of marijuana I firmly believe it would have made a big difference in her coping with and recovering from intense chemotherapy treatments. After watching her and many others suffer from chronic illness and pain we at Emerald Bay Outreach believe it is our duty and responsibility to use our knowledge and personal experiences to Advocate, Cultivate and Educate everyone in need of this very valuable information.
