Open Weekends, Noon-5:00pm
Elizabeth Hack lays down color and texture onto surfaces with a transfixed awareness that captures every detail of the hand, pen and palette knife. These "excavations" leave no stroke, line, or color unturned.
A world-traveler from infancy, Elizabeth Hack brings this rich experience and a wonderful sense of art to her work.
Elizabeth was selected for a two year exhibit in Fiji, sponsored by the Art in Embassies program. She has served as artist in residence through the Fine Arts Museums and has exhibited her work widely.
Hack is active in the local arts community serving on the board of the National League of American Pen Women, artist member of the Dancing Poetry company, and the founding director of San Francisco Peace and Hope literary journal.
