"Electric Nostalgia" our themetime tribute DJ series is back with another edition, this time in the main room of Public Works.After selling out smaller spots like the Loft, Monarch, and AudioSF, "Electric Nostalgia" is stepping up to the plate with the exquisite Funktion 1 system at Public Works.
All the better to listen to Motion Potion's 3-hr All-Radiohead-in-Remix DJ set and Matt Haze's closing Daft Punk blowout set. And for this special Holiday angst edition, we present to you the debut set of Depeche Mode in remix, by Boris Levit.
And, just so we are clear, neither Radiohead, nor Daft Punk nor any of their band members will be performing live.
These are DJ sets in tribute to these acts featuring rare, exclusive remixes, b-sides, mashups, and covers. If you are a fan of either of these acts, you will find no better way to enjoy their music without seeing them in person.
As one past attendee so eloquently put it "Wow, you guys really know your shit, don't you?"
