Description

Custom Made Theatre Co. presents "The Play About the Baby" the contemporary masterpiece by Pulitzer- and Tony-winning playwright Edward Albee (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?).

Equally hilarious and frightening, this darkly comic dramatic fable opens with a young couple, madly in love with each other and with their child. They are the perfect family -- that is, until an older couple steals the baby. A series of mind games and manipulations makes everyone question their sense of reality and fiction, joy and sorrow.

This devastating black comedy uses both sparkling wit and incandescent language to shed light on the joys and terrors of creating another human being. Many have called it Albee's absurdist take on his own Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
