Description
Both the 5K and 10K start together on Lake Chabot Blvd in front of the Medical Center and run toward Lake Chabot. The 5K turns back at the entrance to the lake and the 10K enters the park and runs up the West Trail alongside Lake Chabot, before returning back on Lake Chabot Blvd. Kids 50 yd.dashes for 3-8year olds follow the big event starting at 9:30AM. Everyone entered in the 5K/10K or kid's dashes receives a t-shirt decorated with the event logo and a goodie bag. There is a big Health Expo with live music in the post-race area.
