Description

Erath Winery, one of the pioneering wineries of Oregon’s Willamette Valley and the state’s leading producer of Pinot Noir, has been crafting distinctive vineyard and vintage-driven Pinots since the winery was founded in 1967. Winemaker Gary Horner offers a window into the art of blending different clones of Pinot Noir, as well as Pinots from different vineyards sites, to create wines that express the nuance and complexity of this noblest of grapes. You will taste three single-clone bottlings of Pinot Noir, two single-vineyard bottlings, and Erath’s tête de cuvée – La Nuit Magique (“The Magic Night”), a tribute to the defining moment when one falls in love with Pinot Noir, when wine transcends the moment and becomes immortalized as one of life’s great experiences. Join Gary for this unique exploration of Pinot Noir and discover why this grape has captivated winemakers and wine drinkers alike for centuries.
