Join Earth Island Institute for a very special evening of great music with Country Joe McDonald and special guest, Bob Reid.Joe as you know was the co-founder of the pioneer psychedelic rock band Country Joe and the Fish whose performance at Woodstock is legendary.
What you may not know is Joe has been a long-time, tireless advocate for Vietnam veterans, nurses, as well as for animals and the environment. He performed at the recent Earth Day concert, "Kiss the Sky - Orca Freedom Concert," which also featured Heart, Graham Nash, and Joan Jett and the Black Hearts and raised awareness and support for orca organizations, including Earth Island Institute's International Marine Mammal Project
McDonald's music spans a broad range of style and content, and we are thrilled to present this very special benefit concert for Earth Island in the intimate setting of the David Brower Center's 180 seat, Goldman Theater.
All proceeds benefit Earth Island Institute!
