Description
In commemoration of Earth Day, learn about the US Army Corps of Engineers' involvement in the transformation of the former Hamilton Field, U.S. Army Airbase into 1000 acres of restored wetlands. Learn more about the USACE environmental mission and other projects. Hike is approximately a 1.5-miles round trip on a fairly easy stretch of the Bay Trail. Ranger Linda will be waiting for you at the S. Hamilton Park parking lot at the end of Hanger Road in Novato. Rain will cancel hike.More Info
