FREYA (Hemisphere)

Freya is known for her smooth drum & bass sounds and timeless selection. Freya moved to San Francisco from Boulder, CO in 1999 to be a part of a larger drum&bass community. Soon after she joined the Sister SF DJ crew, playing gigs from the Burning Man Playa to the historic Eklektic monthly to the Winter Music Conference in Miami. As her sound refined to the funky side of the dance floor, Freya founded the Hemisphere night in 2001, which ran for three years. In its heyday Hemisphere was dubbed "the best smooth dance floor drum&bass night on the west coast" and features such scene makers as Bachelors of Science and Juju. Now in her 15th year of DJing, Freya plays only select, intimate gigs for the discerning drum&bass dance floor. Don't miss this opportunity to hear one of her rare live sets!


AUDIO ANGEL (Hemisphere, BADNB)

Audio Angel is in love with all styles of music. So much, that she often answers the question "What style do you like to sing most?" with an exuberant "Yes!" Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul, DnB, Rock, Folk – the list goes on! Most recent collaborators onstage & in the studio include Franco Nero, Ex-Pyramids & Quiet Time. She is so grateful to have been a resident of multiple parties throughout the West Coast and performed with hundreds of DJs, bands & performers throughout the world.


NEBAKANEZA (Irie Cartel)

Nebakaneza is nuts! I think he is certifiably insane, but he seems to find his therapy by slamming Dubstep through the speakers. Don't be surprised if he interacts with the crowd and throws random things at you in the name of fun and mayhem. He has an eerie yet sexy style that covers many aspects of Dubstep from the face melting wobbles, to the strip your clothes off sultry sounds. He is a DJ that likes to use his mixer and turntables as instruments, so you will see him playing with the music like a DJ should. He looks scary, but is a friendly soul. Don't be afraid to run up to him during a set and show him some love. He may just give you a bear hug and show you love back.

The masked DJ has created quite the splash in the Bay Area dubstep scene. Since crawling out of the shadows in January of 2010 and joining the Irie Cartel crew, he has put out countless mixes, been in various publications, and helped start Ritual, one of the largest reoccurring dubstep events on the West Coast. He is a dubstep DJ with a wide range of styles from the ragga joints, to the sexy sub bass sounds, to the nasty filth, or the UK uptempo style. You may have seen him at the Emissions Campout, the Dub Fillmore festival, the Elements campout, Camp Questionmark's stage at Burning Man, Dub Mission or opening for Borgore and Caspa. This phantom is showing no signs of slowing down and is forever expanding his style, and his passion for bass is infectious.


SKULLTRANE (MALLABEL, BADMAN PRESS, DALY CITY RECORDS)

Proudly hailing from Detroit, now residing in San Francisco. Since 2007 the Bay Area is toying with disaster by laying on a huge fault line with talent such as SKULLTRANE. Producing her original jawdropping beats with releases on MalLabel Music, Daly City Records and Badman Press. She has remixed and collaborated with quite a few of the more notable bass heavy producers Mochipet, MC Zulu, Blackheart, 6 Blocc, Taso, DZ, Roommate, Mr. Boogie & Helicopter Showdown to name a few.

Live, Skulltrane's legendary explosive, mind bending, multi-genre mayhem inducing live sets have led her to perform next to such legendary acts as E-40, Datsik, Reso, Nadastrom, DJ Assault, Liquid Stranger, Vaski, Starkey, Zion-i, Nasty Nasty, Stagga & Downlink.
Her musical influences for the most part draw from her roots in Detroit's now infamous '90's Techno and Hip-Hop scene which she has seamlessly incorporated these inspirational elements into her own production and live performances. Fast mixing, dramatic tempo changes and massive baselines drops to your dome Skulltrane will never leave a booty un-bounced.


SOBEEZE (IRS, VENDETTA, DYSTOPIA)

Sobeeze started his journey into DnB back in 1997 when he and his homie Kaifeng decided to throw an underground estate party. Every since then, the town of Altadena has never been the same. The sounds of Dom and Roland blasted through the windows, awakening Sobeeze's conscience, telling him to enter into the DJ scene without fear. This SoCal mixologist, representing Los Angeles, moved to Oakland in 2008 with the intent of continuing to make the masses move to some heavy and funky beats. His unique selection of liquid, jump-up, neuro, darkstep, funk, and hip-hop always keeps the crowd guessing and grooving on the dance floor. Playing at parties such as Industry W, Era, Shelter, Vendetta, and Dystopia, he's no stranger to the scene... and with this being his birthday set, it's sure to be bananas!
