AFTERMASK (Genocide Sessions)

http://xgenocide.tumblr.com/
Aftermask was not always Aftermask. Age 15 - Through meeting a ninja named Mike Damnage (http://promodj.com/MikeDAMNage) - Aftermask was introduced to Drum & Bass. The music caused an immediate response from him, and encouraged him to embrace the depths and areas of his mind, which were not explored in any of the schools he had attended. The stuff they don’t teach us.... Since this time in his life, that mentality has only grown. Always becoming more inspirational and mind-opening, as he gradually discovered countless darkside drum & bass songs/mixes, (originally based from Limewax, SPL, Current Value, Technical Itch, etc.) and over time developed and acquired a wholesome taste for the entire genre, leaving his neck and head bobbing to the beat in eternity.
AUTOPSY (Primitive Science, Bass Heavy, Bloodshed)
http://soundcloud.com/autopsydnb
http://dnbradio.com/
Slaughtering dancefloors across the bay, Shawn “DJ Autopsy” Weathers loves a hard hitting beat. Whether it’s the dense sounds of heavy metal or the pounding percussion of drum and bass, as long as it’s a driving beat, he loves it. Walking that fine line between appropriate and absolutely psycho, DJ Autopsy embodies all things dark and dirty.
Originally a metal head, DJ Autopsy got his first set of tables in 1997. With hopes of forming a band that never happened, he began experimenting with hip-hop and house tracks while trying his hand at turntablism. That same year he went to his first rave, Acid Breaks 3, at the legendary Home Base warehouse. It was there he met his filthy, elusive love, that esoteric tempest, drum and bass.
From there, DJ Autopsy was on a roll: in 2000 he spun his first party at Maritime Hall, in 2004 he was a WMC delegate, and in 2006, he gained residency at Gorilla Thursdays and with Primitive Science. It was also at this time he met Ch, the other half of Bloodshed. It seemed they were each other’s missing piece: they shared the same demonic ideas, the same grimy, filthy music that it only made sense to join forces. They shared a common goal- to rinse the most cutting-edge music they could find. They both drop aggressive basslines and a darker sound and for the past 4 years, they’ve been spreading these murderous, evil beats through their Primitive Science radio show, hosted by DNBRadio.com.
Over the past 13 years, DJ Autopsy’s pillaged your ears with his assaulting track selection at over 400+ events like Shelter, Bass Cellar, Womp, Compression and Love Parade, while opening for acts like Aquasky, Evol Intent, Danny the Wildchild, Stakka and RAW, and he’s not stopping there. He wants to continue playing the newest, freshest music, as well beginning to produce and create his own.
