Kicking off POW! WOW! San Jose's yearly event, the SJZ Boombox Truck will be rolling out to the Valley Title Parking Lot to showcase some top-notch talent while celebrating local artists. Live music for the evening will feature the latest collaborative album, Rapp Nite, by Lyrics Born and Cutso with another headliner to be announced soon!POW! WOW! San Jose (PWSJ) is an internationally renowned week-long arts and culture festival heading into its third year in San Jose. Their goal is to highlight the cultural diversity that San Jose has to offer through a gathering of contemporary artists engaging the broader community in the process and creation of live art and music with a focus on painted murals.
Do You Know San Jose? is San Jose Jazz's new initiative that explores the music, people and special places of San Jose, spotlighting the important role of live music as a part of its cultural identity. April to October, 2019, 15 events will pop up in every corner of the city featuring a variety of musicians and cultural activities.
This is a free event but donations supporting POW! WOW! San Jose will gladly be accepted at the door.
