Simply put, Dru Down is a Bay Area music legend. Starting with his first hit feature on "Pimps, Playas & Hustlas" on The Luniz platinum-selling Operation Stackola, Dru has ridden his charismatic flow and style to solo success. Best known for his single "Pimp of the Year," he is a longtime member of local supergroup The Regime, which counts the likes of Yukmouth, Tech N9ne and Messy Marv as members. He is also one of the few living rappers to have shared a track with 2Pac--appearing briefly on the Shakur's 1996 track "All About U." (TM)
