Description

SFJFF is thrilled to announce director Susan Mogul will be present for a Q & A after the screening of her latest film "Driving Men," the sassy, iconoclastic and characteristically honest examination of cars, men and her own psyche.

Considered a pioneer of feminist filmmaking, Susan Mogul has been making intensely intimate, biographical and ethnographical videos since the early 1970s. Her videos are featured in contemporary academic courses, museum exhibitions and documentaries examining the history of video art and feminist art.

In her latest self-exploration DRIVING MEN, Mogul and her camera ride shotgun while she interviews the men in her life, from brothers to ex-lovers to her own father, placing them literally behind the wheel. The result is a unique and spirited interpretation of the classic American road movie.
