Popular Author and Train Historian Bruce MacGregor will speak on Drilling a hole in the wall: narrow gauge rails to Santa Cruz". The lecture will explore the reasons behind, and methods involved in, the construction of the South Pacific Coast Railroad over the Santa Cruz Mountains in 1880.
