Dr. Edna Williams is a 1988 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College. She has been licensed as a chiropractor in California since 1990.

An expert in Advanced Acupressure, Dr. Williams has been on the faculty of two acupuncture colleges in the US and she has practiced in Hong Kong.

Dr. Edna Williams is an Honors graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Her senior thesis project in Nutrition and Immunity was also awarded honors.

Dr. Edna Williams holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

An expert in Herbal Medicine and the Botanical Healing Arts, Dr. Edna Williams has lectured extensively on the medicinal and culinary uses of plants. She has served on the faculty for The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington; New College of California in San Francisco; The Art Institute of California - San Francisco; State University of New York / Westchester Community College at the Ossining Extension Site; University of California at Santa Cruz's Holistic Health Program and the Department of Biology, Ecology and Behavioral Sciences at UC Extension.

Dr. Edna Williams has also held faculty appointments at Oregon Health Sciences University in the Department of Gynecology. Many years ago, she was a member of the Santa Cruz Women's Health Collective.

Currently, Dr. Edna Williams is active on many issues pertaining to food, nutrition and agriculture. Since 2007, she has been on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Farm and Garden Project at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz.
