DJ STICKY RICARDO

Description

Sticky Ricardo, otherwise known as DJ Sticky, is one of the newest additions to the Bay Area Hip Hop scene. Being a San Francisco resident for not even 2 years, Sticky has performed at nearly every hip hop club and bar in the city. Brought up in South Jersey, he was heavily influenced by the NY "Boom Bap" sound of the 90's. Upon his arrival in San Francisco, Sticky started the underground radio show "Gotcha Open" featuring local artists, producers, and DJ's. Since a young age he has been a gifted turntablist and producer. To this day, Sticky DJ's mostly using vinyl and produces music using an MPC 1000. In 2010, he was awarded "Most Original" and "Best Turntablist" at the Atlantic City Master of the Mix.
