Kids of Huerta is a small non-profit organization dedicated to helping orphan children in the small village of Huerta, just outside of Cusco, Peru.

All proceeds go directly to filmmaker Thea Juliette Stevenson and the production of Kids of Huerta, a documentary film and photo essay to begin production in the Fall of 2012. The film will follow the lives of the children, and one Australian woman’s dedication to help the children of Peru away from a life of poverty and starvation.

Thea Juliette Stevenson is a UK film maker with experience working with award wining (BAFTA) producers and BBC filmmakers. She has a background working in NGOs and international aid in the photography and film departments, and has travelled around South America witnessing its poverty, immense beauty, and tradition.
