Local music veterans Divided return to the scene after an indefinite hiatus. After calling it quits, lead vocalist Ryan Reynoso joined metal outfit Left Of Christ. But whether it was the planets aligning or pure coincidence, Divided is back. But I have yet to hear if they’re going to start writing new music. Divided started out as Drift in ’99. Within a year, they changed their name and wanted to step up their dedication to their sound. Drawing influences from Faith No More, 311 and Incubus, Divided toured California relentlessly and made a name for themselves. Now they’re out to recapture that.
