Description

Guests to this free community event will have the opportunity to learn about the history of immigration trends in California and the Bay Area from Dr. Margo McBane, History Professor at San Jose State University and about the state of immigration in our community today from civic leaders.

Confirmed participants include Dr. Ayinde Rudolph, Superintendent of Mountain View-Whisman School District; Jean Mordo, Mayor of Los Altos; Angelica Esquivel, De Anza Valley College/DACA representative; Mary Dutcher, Immigration Attorney; and William Lambert, Board President, Day Worker Center of Mountain View.

This program is in support of “Traveling Stitches: Quilts Made At The Day Worker Center of Mountain View“ on exhibit in the J. Gilbert Smith House Gallery, February 15-April, 29, 2018.
