Description
The Arts & Entrepreneurship Forum will host a free open mic event for artists and social entrepreneurs working on disaster relief issues on Monday, September 24, 2012, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Intersection for the Arts Gallery, 925 Mission Street in San Francisco. Anyone with an active interest in addressing the needs of communities impacted by natural or manmade disasters is encouraged to participate.The open mic is part of the Arts & Entrepreneurship Forum's Monday Mingles, a series of informal social networking events for local change-makers. Based on the belief that creativity and innovation are integral to changemaking, the Forum's mission is to facilitate introductions and foster collaborations between artists and social entrepreneurs to accelerate social, environmental and economic change.
