It’s a brave new world, and everything is changing. The oily machines of manufacturing are being joined by squeaky-clean computers, 3D printers, and digital fabrication services. Creativity is rampant and people (like you and me) are saying see ya to mass-produced, no individuality goods. Turns out, making exactly what you want is something anyone can do. And maker types obviously learned their kindergarten lessons because they love to share. That means one idea spawns hundreds more and innovation is running amok. So make your way over to Design Night and:
- Hear a talk from Mark Hatch, CEO of TechShop
- Make your own creature (don’t worry, we’ll leave the lights on)
- Build a birdhouse (bird not included)
- Eat! Drink! Make! Learn!
And much more. So beg, borrow, or steal, just as long as you make it!
