Lois Laidlaw began Design Group in 1994 when she followed her passion of designing custom window fashions and then expanded to include plantation shutters, blinds and shades. As we continue to grow the company we have included custom bedding, light upholstery, wall treatments, and carpeting. 

From Inspiration to Installation, taking care of our customers is Design Group's first principle and our highest priority. As a full service window treatment business, we offer expert installation with full time installers that have a combined experience of over 50 years. We can handle any job, no matter how large or small. 

All of our draperies, valances, Roman shades, custom bedding and pillows are made right in our own local workroom by our professional fabricators who have been with us since we began. 

We are experts in window treatments and fabric selection. We help you select the right treatment for the right situation and at the right price. We also provide an excellent selection of "Green Products" that are environmentally friendly and reduce energy costs. If you need additional interior design services, we can provide that as well with one of our many professional designers.
