Description
At their peaks in the mid-80s, Def Leppard and Heart couldn't have been less alike. The Wilson sisters were dressing up in lace and crooning ballads like "These Dreams" (not to mention singing on the Footloose soundtrack), while DL were perfecting their big, sleek, free-associative metal that would reach its apex in "Pour Some Sugar On Me." A quarter-century later, they're both lumped into "nostalgic '80s hard rock," playing on the same bill. - Steve Palopoli sanjose.com
