DJ KELEE SILVA, moving crowds to the beat since 1995…

Kelee was born and raised in the Bay Area and currently lives in west Oakland. I guess you can say it all started in 1989 when Kelee’s mom bought him a Realistic mixer along with two old tape decks. He was hooked from that moment on! Music became his passion and having the latest gear became his goal. He started djing professionally at his High School functions. He soon became a local East Bay favorite and was the sought after entertainment for house parties. When Kelee first started playing out he would get the party started with top forty and underground hip-hop. After being introduced to the then popular San Francisco underground house scene in the late nineties he quickly found a “groove”.

Spending the early to mid two-thousands experimenting with deep, soulful and funky house tracks, DJ Kelee moved away from his gateway genres in late two-thousands to play electro house, teck-house, minimal techno, and breaks. He has also been experimenting with fidget, newrave, uk funky, dubstep and glitch. Never shining away from his roots, Dj Kelee Silva is still known to play a hard tecno set.

Kelee’s love for vinyl mixing overflowed onto the masses in the late two-thousands with his monthly Saturday “Bounce” which was held at the Oakland club, Oasis. He continued throwing parties for a year and a half before he broke away to peruse different avenues within the electronic music genera. Currently Kelee has made the leap from vinyl to cdjs and is known for incorporating new cutting edge tracks within his sets. Lately Kelee has been manipulating the dance floors and is concidered the god father of baseline house in the bay area!
