Description
Deborah Slater Dance Theater does visually gorgeous, acrobatic, talking dance, exploring social issues through original dance, text and music. For YBGF they will perform a study for Men Think They are Better than Grass, a new multi-disciplinary work using the beauty of land, water, animals and WS Merwin’s poetry to explore the reciprocal relationship between our lives and the environment.Dance/Theater Shannon creates dance by crystallizing moments from our daily human existence. In Perch, the company’s newest work, the ensemble affirms honest and personal interactions by showing anew what we pass over daily with our inattention.
