Stromkern, one of San Francisco's favorite industrial acts, returns to DNA Lounge for the first time Since their historic tour with Front Line Assembly in 2006. After a 6 year hiatus from making music, the group resurfaces with a new EP, "Dead Letters," in March. Joined by long-time Stromkern drummer Matt Berger, legendary producer Dan Clark of the Dark Clan, and synthpop prodigy Andrew Sega of Iris, Stromkern frontman Ned Kirby blew away a packed audience at last Summer's wtII Festival in Chicago - the band's comeback show. The Death Guild Anniversary show will be the first Stromkern performance since then. This is not to be missed.
Now at nineteen years, Death Guild is the oldest weekly goth/industrial dance night in the country, and the second oldest in the world! Every Monday, six DJs in two rooms play a mix of gothic, industrial, synthpop, noise, ambient, and weird stuff for those who love the darker side of things.
