Go to the Mississippi River for three long periods of motivation, composing, and network at The David R. Collins Writers' Conference, hung on the grounds of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. Here, you can build up your composition working with grant winning creators in an assortment of classes, and get distributing tips, one-on-one studies, and pitch an original copy, just for a moderate cost. We additionally have an open mic perusing, a personnel book deal, organizing openings, and bunches of Midwestern neighborliness.

The David R. Collins Writers' Conference is in its thirteenth year on the grounds of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. Hotel is accessible in the dormitories on grounds. Every workshop is 4.5 hours more than three days, 1.5 hours for each day. We will offer five workshops in 2018, including: verse; true to life/diary; short fiction; the novel; and more TBA.
