Country music comes to San Jose from Nashville in the form of Darryl Whorley. It's been quite a journey for this country star, but he's finally reaping the fruits of his labor and has reached the success deserving of his talents as a singer and a songwriter. The performances in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait to support our troops inspired Whorley to write the 2003 smash hit "Have You Forgotten?" which earned him multiple nominations from The Academy of Country Music. Whorley has finally arrived, and with the drive, soul, and passion of his music it doesn't look like he's going anywhere anytime soon.-(AB)
