Description
Daniel Castro Photography proudly announces a community art project entitled "Make Love"--a fundraiser for SF Camerawork. The event will take place at Yerba Buena Gardens on Saturday and Sunday January 28th and 29th and features an open air photography studio that will allow the public to participate in a large scale installation piece. Hundreds of polaroid 'lip portraits' will be amassed together to form a substantial six foot piece with one word: L-O-V-E. Before the lip prints reach their final destination in the letterforms however, they will be featured as whimsical portrait props (participants are encouraged to swap lips) in the outdoor studio. The installation piece and individual portraits will be auctioned off in a reception at SF Camerawork in late February to benefit their youth photography mentor program, "First Exposures".
