Description
DANGERMAKERhttps://www.facebook.com/dangermaker
Dangermaker’s anticipated 2012 debut LP “Black Dream” is a bit dark and mysterious at times, yet also pervasively upbeat, catchy and fun, filled with “lots of energy, cool, dark, angular melodies” (David Bash of IPO). The album represents a true progression for the band musically, the new songs straddle Indie Dance Rock & Classic Alternative, somewhere between 70′s Bowie, The Clash & The Stooges, and The Black Keys, Spoon & Interpol. Inspired by this wide pool of influence, their recent personal struggle, and the desire to create a blend of musical styles that resonates with audiences, this core of passionate musicians has crafted a provocative debut album which has led to recent showcases at SXSW and CMJ, propelling the band forward into 2012.
THE SHAPE
https://www.facebook.com/TheShapeBand
The Shape was born in a solitary basement. In a hazy, concrete room littered with hula hoops and cheap beer, within the late child stages of voyeurism, tribalism, and hedonism, they performed. Matthew Ely, Andrew Jackson, and Mark Goodwin continue to gather attention and momentum with their music. The simple trio, guitar, bass, and drums, has not sounded so resonant, vibrant, and unique to the ears in quite some time.
FAYROY
https://www.facebook.com/FayRoy
FayRoy is a historical beach cottage on Indian Rocks Beach, Fl. The band's aesthetic embodies the fondness we share for the humid, moss covered river lagoons of Florida's interior, and the ethereal, moon lit beaches of coast's far far away. Since Sep 2011 the band has been digging its roots deep into the San Francisco Bay area, absorbing its culture, and its vastly varying landscapes. FayRoy is working hard on new music and various other side projects so stay tuned and be sure not to miss our next show!
