Greater Khorasan is a historic region, which the majority of it lies in modern day Iran, as well as minor parts of Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan. Historically, Khorasan was named Parthia which was changed to Khorasan in the late Sassanid Dynasty.

Men traditionally participate in ethnic dances in this region and are of course welcome.

Class begins with Persian and Central Asian movement warm up and will progress into various Khorasani dance movements, vocabulary, techniques, expression, turning, and short sequences. We will also focus on historical aspect of each dance style, costuming, and music.

$15 - drop in (pay instructor in class)
$52 - for the whole 4 week session (must pay instructor in class 8/29)
