Description
Dan Winters will discuss his early influences and interest in film and photography, as well as his path to becoming an world renowned advertising, celebrity, and editorial photographer.Dan has won over 100 National and International Awards, from American Photography, Communication Arts, The Society of Publication Designers, PDN, The Art Directors Club of New York, and a First Place World Press Photo Award in the portrait category, among others. He was also awarded the prestigious Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography. And he was honored by Kodak as a photo Icon in their biographical Legends series.
Dan has shot regular assignments for magazines such as Esquire, GQ, Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Texas Monthly, Wired, Discover, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Time, and many others.
