Capitola Book Cafe is proud to welcome surfer, author and father Dan Duane as part of its Author Event series. In the 1990's, Dan Duane quit his regular job to become a full-time surfer in Santa Cruz and would later author the classic surfer memoir, Caught Inside. However, when a new wife and a child entered his life, he took on a complete new role: the family chef. He will now be on hand to discuss his hilarious yet moving book, How to Cook Like a Man: A Memoir of Cookbook Obsession.
