Although she could be categorized simply as a jazz vocalist, Aimée presents a new, dynamic sound that often features her looping her own vocals, creating beats, textures and rhythms that present a tough and driving sound; a glorious counterpoint to her melodious voice. Having been a top finalist in the Thelonious Monk Vocalists Competition and toured the world over, she has garnered accolades from NPR and is fast becoming a fixture on the Manhattan jazz scene.
