Description

Following in the tradition of classically trained musical adventurers the Kronos Quartet, the Cypress String Quartet have been changing the definition of "classical music" for 15 years, commissioning more than 30 new works. They'll perform one of those, "Impressions" by fascinating composer Jennifer Higson, which pays tribute to the great Impressionists of both orchestras and oils.
