Cunt is an opening. Cunt is an evening of live and remote performance and installation experiences curated by San Francisco’s bizarre darling Dia Dear. Stylistically bridging a gap between the nightclub and traditional performance, Dia Dear’s work explores embodiment, the grotesque, and beauty. Cunt goes further. Expanding upon Dia Dear’s ephemeral embodiment of the hyper-real InRealLife, Cunt is a culmination of contradictions. Featuring new pieces in collaboration with a diverse cast of San Francisco and New York club kids, queens, visual artists, performers, djs, promoters, video artists, and photographers, Cunt is a one-night only event.
