A Cuddle Party is a fun,playful workshop on connection/communication that includes an abundance of nurturing/affectionate touch. It is safe and structured, nonsexual and drug/alcohol-free event.

People attend a Cuddle Party to have fun,enjoy a wonderful night of connecting with like-minded people or as a great networking opportunity to look for new friends/significant other. Some come to safely fulfill their need for affection & nurturing touch that they may be missing, to appreciate the learning/personal growth aspect,improving their social/communication skills(expressing needs,setting boundaries), & explore ways of creating connection & closeness. Some may appreciate risking connecting with someone of the same sex (or the opposite)or find an element of spirituality here,and play with"touch meditation",Tantra,or explore different states of consciousness("the cuddling hormone" oxytocin can produce quite an altered state).

Cuddling can mean feet against feet, head or shoulder rubs, spooning. You participate according to your desires and comfort level (it is perfectly ok if you just want to talk and not touch anyone for a while or not at all - YOU ARE ALWAYS AT CHOICE!!!).
During the first hour we create the structure/safe space by introducing ourselves, learning about Cuddle Party philosophy and rules (like "Ask before touching anyone"), and by going through ice-breaker exercises. This is followed by a couple of hours of social cuddling time, and ends with a Closing Circle.
