Description

Bay Voyager just launched the 2012 cruise scheduled at its new berth at Jack London Square. Bay Voyager is San Francisco Bay’s only bay tour featuring the Navy Seals-type large passenger rigid inflatable boat (RIB), which can accommodate up to 12 people. With its new, permanent home port at Jack London Square, Bay Voyager’s cruises provide great access to the less traveled corners of the San Francisco Bay as well as a more individualized experience.

Introductory rates start at $75 per person or $65 per person for private charters of eight or more people. In addition to the scheduled tours, as per below, Bay Voyager offers custom cruises as well as four other specialty adventures.

Featured Cruise Schedule:

Trip 1 – Bay Highlights --- Focusing on the highlights of the Bay, this tour cruises past the San Francisco downtown area, the Marina and North Beach from a waterfront excursion of California’s most historic city.

Trip 2 – Bay Hopping --- Expanding on trip #1, passengers will explore more of the Bay as this tour ventures across the Bay to the Alameda/Oakland estuary. Viewing some of the most storied vessels in the Bay, such as FDR’s private yacht, this trip is ideal for executive clients, visitors and cruise connoisseurs with limited time.

Trip 3 (Sundays Only) – 49 Mile Bay Crossing --- This voyage combines trip #1 and #2, exploring parts of the Bay that even locals don’t often see. Passengers will go under four major bridges in the San Francisco Bay and around two lighthouses as well.

A snapshot of Bay Voyager’s tours may include history and stories of the San Francisco Bay while observing the former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships or active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes on the variety of tours available, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.

While Bay Voyager does have a daily schedule, trips are not activated unless they have reservations in advance. However, they are also flexible, so if interested in a different trip or time, contact Bay Voyager and they will try to accommodate special requests.
