Today, the Whooligan is an intricate part of the Bay Area’s music scene and the undeniable flair for his craft, along with an impressive work ethic have quickly gained him fans beyond his native soil, as demonstrated by his #4 ranking in Music Culture Today Magazine’s Top 10 Favorite DJ Sets from the 2009 Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida. The Whooligan’s talent has resulted in connecting thousands of dancers, fans and listeners alike at festivals such as SXSW, WMC, Outside Lands and the Fillmore Jazz Festival, with supporting DJ sets alongside artists Mark Farina, Jazzanova, Daz I Kue, Jazzy Jeff, J. Rocc, DJ Scratch and many more. National tours sponsored by industry powerhouses MTV, Myspace, Island Def Jam and Sony, and performing with artists such as Alice Russell, Vikter Duplaix, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Sister and Diplo, to name a few, have secured the Whooligan’s standing as one of the most hard-working and respected selectors on the West Coast.

As a member of world-renown DJ/producer outfit The Bangerz (formerly Fingerbangerz), Cutso always brings his eclectic taste in music to the mix. His influences derive from all things dope, ill, and sometimes slammin’. Before discovering his indulgence in the finer things in life and ever-revving libido, he discovered DJing at the tender age of 8, but did not start actively DJing until he hit puberty. His experience in party rocking, infused with his experience as a battle DJ result in a product which he calls “superior good times had by all that have witnessed it.”
