Work out, lose weight and have fun while learning to dance to live Congolese drums and African music! Tone your body and mind while revitalizing your spirit.Master of traditional Congolese dance and drumming, Vivien Bassouamina comes from Congo (Brazzaville.) After touring Europe with professional dance companies, he settled in the US in 2007. He has been teaching for over 3 years in Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. This will be the first class in the San Jose! He is a patient, kind and enthusiastic teacher. He can teach anyone to dance with a big smile on your face and in your heart.
Live drumming led by Armel (Mapoos) Mampouya
The drums keep the rhythm and adds energy to your dance so much that you hardly feel like you're working out.
