Description
If you are suffering from shoulder, neck, arm, wrist, pain/tension from all the hours you spend in front of the computer, check out this class! You will learn how to retrain your brain to release long-held patterns of tension based on how you operate your body while working on the computer. You see, we train the brain to hold our bodies based on our repetitive movements, or lack thereof. Come and learn how you have full control over your muscles. All it takes is a bit of somatic learning to get the job done. Hanna Somatic education is a form of neuromuscular training that not only eases pain/tension due to overly-tight muscles, but it also helps you stand up straighter without having to think about it. Read more at http://www.persensa.com. Kathy Kerber is your instructor and she also teaches for the City of San Jose and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.Yoga mats are provided. Bring a towel and/or pillow for added comfort. Wear clothing you can move in comfortably.
