Description

“I almost knocked Albert out with my guitar.” Dave Parker is talking to a packed room at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco. Company Car is at the halfway point of their set, and guitars are not only rocking, but flying through the air as well. After executing a rhythmic jump during their last song, Parker’s guitar came down hard, fast and only inches away from Albert Chough’s face. Albert has played lead guitar in this band since 2005 and does not seemed fazed by the incident. In fact, this sort of thing is typical at a Company Car show. They throw themselves into each song and dare the crowd not to enjoy it.Noah Heldfond (bass) and Frank Martell (drums) round out this foursome that has recently made a splash in the SF music scene. Due to word-of-mouth and a growing fan base, they landed a headlining slot at the popular Noisepop Festival in 2006. Since then, they have only grown bigger, playing to large crowds at some of the best clubs in SF and the surrounding Bay Area.
