Pier 70 Partners is back at it again with their series of free events happening at the pier this summer.Kicking things off at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 21st is the Community Showcase, featuring a wide variety of all-age activities. Come enjoy pop-up shops from Vintage Market SF and Goodwill, thirty cars from Blox Racing, roller skating with Church of 8 Wheels, AcroSports Interactive Demonstrations, a screening of Disney-Pixar’s Cars, and more! Once the sun sets, it is time for a celebration of the glitz, glamor, and luxury of the 1920s. Pier 70 will be screening Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, featuring the talents of Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan. Grab a drink from the bar, some snacks from a food truck, and settle in for the show. Pre-show festivities start at 8:00pm with music and live entertainment including the TrashKan Marchink Band, The Speakeasy Syndicate, BoomSwing Cabaret, Shimmy Shakin’ Flapper Girls, and more.
