Description
Annually, nearly 4.5 million people require blood transfusions in the United States and Canada. As a result of this need, the Biltmore Hotel and Suites has teamed with the American Red Cross, Mosaic Global Transportation and members of the San Francisco 49ers to hold a local blood drive.The drive will take place Monday, July 20, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hotel, which is located conveniently off Highway 101 in Santa Clara, Calif. at 2151 Laurelwood Road.
Join the 49ers coaches and staff as they help to meet the nation’s constant need for blood. Not only will participants have the chance to make a difference in up to three lives with only one pint of blood, they’ll also be entered in a drawing to win a $100 Shell gas gift card!
Giving blood is easy, but not as easy as registering. To schedule an appointment, interested donors can simply sign up at http://www.beadonor.com and enter the sponsor code BILTMORESC to continue with the online process.
