Description

Nearly 25% of Bay Area Muslims consider themselves victims of at least one hate crime in the last ten years (http://www.ispu.org/portal/82/ourpage.aspx). That's 125 times the national average!

Join Dr. Hatem Bazian (UC Berkeley), the Pleasant Hill Library, and community members as we present and discuss a counter narrative to stereotypical perspectives regarding Muslims in the US and around the world, including their histories and their cultures. Our next event is March 4 at 6pm at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center.
