Hey there!

We wanted to tell you about our upcoming event - CODAME Art+Tech Festival. We hope to get the word out and mobilize lovers of art & tech to come celebrate and get their party on.

WHO WE ARE. Started by Bruno Fonzi, we’re a group of SF locals with a thing for Art and Technology. The idea for CODAME struck Bruno in 2008, after attending Flash Interactive Conferences around the world.

Inspired by the amazing people he met, Bruno decided to celebrate Art & Technology back home. CODAME was born in 2010 on a rooftop in downtown San Francisco together with Coder/Musician/Artist Jordan Gray (aka Starpause).

After 3 years, the CODAME love for Art & Technology is still spreading. The team is bigger, we are 10 hard-core CODAMEs and about 20 volunteers, 15 Artists and 17 DJs.

WHAT IT IS. CODAME is a unique experience that features the convergence of Art & Technology. It’s a chance to bring together creative minds, independent tech artists to enjoy local’s creations, music & drinks.

WHEN THE PARTY STARTS. Doors open on Saturday, Oct. 27th, 2012 at 8PM with no hard stop.

WHERE IT’S GOING DOWN. CODAME will be taking over a 4-story venue in the heart of SOMA, fully equipped with a rooftop view of the SF skyline. Each floor will have its own theme, sound system, art installations, and vibe.

WHY CODAME. In its 3rd year, CODAME artists will showcase works that have a DIMENSIONAL quality. Working in a variety of mediums – time, space, and beyond will be explored across 4 floors. Plus, it’s another reason to get our party on. The rooftop will house a dance party, the basement will host an indie gaming tournament, and everything in between will feature things like a retro arcade space, fire dancing, live art, Halloween costume contests, etc.

WHO WILL BE THERE. We’ve invited artists like Cyriak, David OReilly, Fons Schiedon and others to help celebrate DIMENSIONAL. Also, a special thanks to our sponsors – Adobe, Organic, Rackspace, Lanica, Mixamo, Pomdoro and Retronyms.
