The Rio Theatre is proud to welcome the eclectic CocoRosie to its stage along with Tez And The Rajasthan Roots. CocoRosie consists of sisters Bianca "Coco" and Sierra "Rosie" Casady, with Sierra singing, playing the guitar, piano and harp, and Bianca singing and manipulating various children's toys, electronic and percussion instruments, as well as other exotic noisemakers. Due to its convergence of a wide range of genres, CocoRosie's music is hard to explain, and is often referred to as "freak folk". If you're looking for something that stands out from generic popular music, this may be your thing.
