Classical Music on the Square with Opera San Jose

Opera San José is a professional, regional opera company that is unique in the United States. Maintaining a resident company of principal artists, Opera San José specializes in showcasing the finest young professional singers in the nation. Principal artists from the Opera San José resident company will present a concert on Courthouse Square highlighting some of the greatest arias and ensembles in opera repertoire from Mozart to Puccini, and a preview of the company's 2015-16 season.

For the classical music lover, or anyone who appreciates great musical talent, Redwood City offers its Classical Music Series starting in June. The series launches at 6 pm with Redwood Symphony on June 20th, followed by Opera San Jose on July 12th, also at 6pm. Closing out the series is Bayshore Lyric Opera on September 13th at 5pm. Families will love these free classical concerts, performed outdoors on beautiful Courthouse Square.
