Ah, yes, give me some sweet, romantic pop-punk, just the way I like it. City in Transit have some big hearts attached to those distorted guitars. They are, for a lack of better term, "mellow emo." What differentiates them from just your standard, run-of-the-mill, meat-and-potatoes, emo-punk band is that they don't sound at all tortured and they even know how to take the volume and aggression down a few notches. It's sweet, heavily harmonized punk with upbeat, loving lyrics.
